ANECA Federal Credit Union is proud to host the 2016 . This is a FREE event and we want you all to come out and enjoy the fun! We have over 10,000 eggs and we'll be doing multiple egg hunts for each age group throughout the day, so no pre-registration is required. Here is a tentative list of all the activities we'll have on hand:
    -Inflatable fun - multiple bounce houses, an obstacle course, and a giant slide!
    -Photos with the Easter Bunny
    -Petting zoo with live bunnies (and more)
    -Rafters FC will be on site to show off some soccer skills and give away some free Rafters swag!
    -Free child fingerprinting
    -LifeShare will be on site to take donations - a good way to save lives and get a free shirt
    -Face painting, balloon twisters, and more live entertainment
    ANECA will be giving away popcorn, cotton candy, and lemonade. We know hunting all those eggs will work up a bigger appetite, so we've partnered with some of the best food trucks and restaurants in town for affordable options: Beaux Jax Mobile Catering, Ki Mexico, Rotolo's, Counter Culture (Dessert only). At New Orleans City Park's Carousel Gardens! We hide more than 15,000 Easter eggs around the amusement park, including golden eggs with special prizes hidden inside. Kids can visit with the Easter Bunny and enjoy face painting and more entertainment. The event is recommended for 8 years and younger and there will be a ‘little kid’ area just for toddlers. No need to bring your own basket or bag, the kids will place their 12 collected eggs into a provided egg carton.   • New Orleans French Quarter Easter Parade - Easter parade
    French Quarter, New Orleans, Louisianna. Phone: 504-888-7608. Event date and time: Easter Sunday at 11 am and a second at 1 pm. .  The first, is the Historic French Quarter Parade. The story goes that the daughter of Count Arnaud started the Historic French Quarter Parade close to 100 years ago. Today the parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at Arnaud’s Restaurant (613 Bienville Street). It includes a stop for the 11 a.m. mass at the St. Louis Cathedral. The parade features stylish ladies in lovely hats handing out goodies via both carriages and convertibles. The parade travels up Bienville Street, along Dauphine Street,via Iberville Street, and down Bourbon Street. They turn right onto Toulouse Street, then another right on to Royal Street, followed by a left on Conti Street and another left on Chartres towards St. Louis Cathedral. After mass, they travel back to Arnaud’s, snaking back through the French Quarter. Chris Owens Easter Parade: At 1 p.m., the Chris Owens Easter Parade rolls through the French Quarter. Chris Owens, a French Quarter entertainer, rides as grand duchess every year. Her procession includes carriages, limos, wagons, trolleys and vintage cars. Entertainment is provided by brass bands and walking groups. The parade begins at the corner of Canal and Bourbon Streets, and travels along Bourbon Street towards St. Phillip Street. They take Phillip Street and take a right on Decatur Street. We will also have a Community wide Easter Egg Hunt at 11:30AM. The Craft Fair will have indoor and outdoor booths with all types of crafters. We will also have concessions with "Ronnie's World Famous Jambalaya" and much more!! Bring your family our for a fun day, shop for some Easter items and get your workout all at the same event. We would appreciate any food you can bring for our Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry. Just our pantry serves 175 - 200 families a month and we have multiple pantries in our parish.
