For kids through sixth grade. Gates Open @ 1pm, Egg Drop @ 3pm, Get There By 2:30!!! What's an Egg Drop? It's like an Easter Egg hunt, only way cooler. In addition to tons of plastic, candy-filled eggs on the field, we'll drop thousands of eggs from a helicopter. All of the participants will stand behind a roped-off area as the helicopter drops the eggs. After the helicopter leaves the area over the field, we'll release the kids (& parents for the youngest age group only). Your kids will have a blast collecting eggs and just enjoying a day outside with all of the other activities. The Egg Drop and other activities are free although there will be some concessions for sale. There will be 30,000 eggs with separate drops for each age group. Last year because of the rain, our attendance remained at 2,000 people even though we GREATLY increased the number of eggs. People were going home with trash bags full! So with 30,000 eggs we can double in size and still have plenty for everyone. There will be separate rounds by age group and parents will only be allowed on the field for children Kindergarten and down. We're bringing in a couple of inflatables (bounce houses) again this year for those who arrive early. The people from Today's Bank will have a face painting table set up for the kids.
